Developers trust Development Strategies to establish reasonable market values for site acquisition projects, whether a few vacant parcels or dozens of improved properties. We also understand urban revitalization and the incentives often necessary to make it happen—and we quantify the market value of these incentives.
Some of these projects last years and even decades. An example of our long-term involvement is the Biotechnopolis project in St. Louis. Now known as the Center of Research, Technology and Entrepreneurial Expertise (CORTEX) district, Development Strategies began work in this major redevelopment effort’s infancy, including appraising every property within its boundaries. More recent work has included appraising CORTEX One, which houses research facilities for various biotech startups, established companies, and Washington University.
