Development Strategies recognizes that by the time these proposed affordable housing developments reach us, they have been through years of planning and have already been approved by the state’s housing agency. Our objective is to not stand in the way of well-conceived projects, but to advise our clients which projects will very likely have long-term marketability, design, competitive, or other issues of concern for any investor, let alone one that will hold a position in the property for at least 15 years and will face recapture of the LIHTC if the project fails.
