City Foundry Mixed Use Development

Development Strategies was engaged by The Lawrence Group to complete a market analysis, shift-share analysis, TIF redevelopment plan, and fiscal impact analysis for the proposed first phase of the $340 million City Foundry development in Midtown St. Louis. The project involves the redevelopment of the former Federal Mogul and Century Electric plant into a mixed-use development consisting of more than 300,000 square feet of food hall, restaurant, upscale retail, and office space. The project will also include considerable public space, structured parking, and a “high-line” bike and pedestrian trail that will reutilize an abandoned rail trestle.
The project is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in late 2019, with additional phases of office development currently proposed.
