Development Strategies announces the newest member of its senior leadership team, Andy Pfister, AICP as Principal.
Andy has been with Development Strategies since 2005 and brings nearly two decades of experience. He is passionate about helping cities develop workable strategies that grow jobs, improve housing quality for everyone, and lead to high quality development. He uses a rare combination of real estate expertise and public policy knowledge to create strategies that are socially responsible and fiscally sound. He has worked nationwide on plans and strategies for Tulsa, Omaha, Topeka, and Lansing. Above all, Andy is a problem-solver who is equally appreciated by clients and colleagues for his knowledge, humor, and calm demeanor that he brings to every project.
“I’ve had the great fortune of working with Andy since he started and you couldn’t ask for a better and more dependable person to work in your community”, said Matt Wetli, Principal. “The longer people know him, the more they appreciate his sincere approach to navigating difficult environments and advancing policies that benefit cities and their people.”
“Andy has unique talents and experience as both a certified planner and a real estate appraiser, and he combines both to provide visionary but practical solutions that communities can actually implement. We’re very proud to have him be a leader of the firm,” said Brad Beggs, Principal.
“Having worked with Andy on numerous projects, I appreciate the insightful way he approaches his work”, said Justin Carney, Principal. “His blend of passion and attention to detail is a benefit to the communities he serves as well as the team he helps lead.”
